45th Kirchenfest Aug 22nd & 23rd

We are about a month away! One more parade this weekend – Troy Homecoming on Friday! Next
weekend we will be providing an update and asking for your assistance at mass. This week we want to
make you aware of some changes as well as thank the Knights of Columbus for their continued support.
If you look around during the week of setup and on the weekend – there is one organization that stands out
– the Knights of Columbus. Did you know they sponsor the Strassenlauf each year? Their annual donation
helps offset the costs of having the race. Did you know they “staff” the Strassenlauf route offering
encouragement and keeping our runners safe at each turn? Did you know they provide the manpower in
frying the chicken and fish for the Chicken and Fish Stand? Did you know they also fry the chicken for the
chicken dinner? Thank you Grand Knight Joe Wetmore and our fellow Knights! You help make Kirchenfest
successful year after year!
A few changes:
1. Laser Tag – new this year! Will be located at the southwest corner of the old hospital lot.
Approximately 3,000 sq feet of fun! More to come on this.
2. Parking – we are now able to use the hospital lot for “self parking”. More to come on this.
3. Early closing time on Sunday – raffle ticket drawing will be at 8:30 pm. Bands will play until 8:30 –
beer tents will be open until 8:30. Game and Food stands will begin closing at 8:00.

1. Get your list updated on www.kirchencrew.com
2. Please note that once your lists is in the system you will not have to input again next year!
3. If you are not comfortable submitting your list online please send your list electronically to Braden
Henze at braden@stpaulkirchenfest.com or Andrea Henze at andibug@gmail.com or drop your list at
the office.

Did you see the upgraded Kirchenfest steeple kiosk at the Madison County fair? Be sure to
wave hi to the KirchenCam if you do.
Raffle tickets are available at each entrance of church as well as the church office.
