Kirchen Korner
44th Kirchenfest Aug 23rd & 24th
*** 62 days and counting ***
Where has the month of June gone? Did you see the Kirchenfest float in the Schweizerfest parade on Saturday? We were honored to have the Kirchen Characters with us – they were a big hit! Thanks to Paul Ray and Brant Frey – the “new” float looks great! Next parade is St Jacob Homecoming and than Troy!
Okay – it is volunteer time! We need your help….did you know it takes over 1500 volunteers to run Kirchenfest! It is not possible with out people stepping up to help. Don’t wait for a call – proactively sign up (www.kirchencrew.com) or contact one of the chairs (listed below). Grab a friend and work a shift!
Again – it would be great if every family could volunteer for, at the minimum, one shift which is only two hours. That would help us greatly and would result in all of our openings being filled! If you simply want to talk to someone about “what you can do to help”, contact any of us and we will direct you to the right stand or go to www.kirchencrew.com to signup.
Raffle tickets will be available at the back of church on the weekend of June 28th – take as many packets as you wish to sell!
We still have two stand chair positions open:
Game Stand Chair Openings
Bean Bag Toss – Sunday Ring Toss – Saturday
Volunteer Registration is ready!

You will be able to utilize this website to volunteer for open shifts.
This webpage is also a resource for documentation and setup for the festival
Bottom line: It takes “many hands” to make this event successful – will you “give us a hand?”
