Come one, come all to the 30th annual running of the Kirchenfest / Strassenlauf, Saturday August 25th on the St Paul Church grounds! The Strassenlauf is comprised of two events, a 5K Run / Walk and a 2K Run / Walk, for all ages, competitive and non-competitive. The routes follow tree lined streets through the City of Highland and are mostly level with some slight inclines. Trophies are awarded to first place finishers of each event, and medals awarded 3 deep in each age group. The 5K event starts on Lemon Street at 8:00 AM, the 2K starts at 9:00 AM. Download your entry form and send it in today! The Strassenlauf opens a weekend festival of shows, live bands, dancing, games, an auction, and plenty to eat and drink.
