KIRCHEN KORNER
44th Kirchenfest Aug 23rd & 24th
*** 19 days and counting ***
We can smell Kirchenfest in the air!!!
And this amazing church festival cannot happen without lots of
volunteers. If you are new to the parish – getting involved in
Kirchenfest is the best way to get to know other parishioners.
If you are an existing parishioner and have never been involved –
we would love to utilize your services. If you are not sure
where your services can be utilized – please give one of us a
call, call the parish office or send us an email – we will get you
to the right stand!
Stand chairs continue to reach out to parishioners for assistance
in their stands. It would be awesome if every family would volunteer for
at least one shift (2 hours). We cannot host this event without
the services of our wonderful parishioners! This is the best
church festival in southern Illinois – let’s continue that tradition!
We have made changes to the signup process due to issues of
flexibility within the “Signup Genius” website. Just remember
this is a “work in process”! We have a good “IT guy” in the
chair rotation (Braden) who will sort this all out! Meanwhile –
here is the new process.
● All worker’s lists should be dropped off at the parish
office or emailed to bascott@charter.net
● We will update a master list (spreadsheet) and post
this list daily to the www.kirchencrew.com website
● You can search for openings on the website
www.kirchencrew.com by keying in the word
“openings” in the search box
● Please contact the stand chair regarding openings
● Stand chairs – you can see your shifts online by
keying your name or stand name in the search box on
www.kirchencrew.com
** Stand change – we have eliminated the Kid’s Korner in the food
court. The only food item we have kept from this stand is the chicken
tenders which can now be found in the Chicken and Fish Stand.
